Owner & Postpartum Doula

Jess Brown

I’ve been passionate about birth work since 2016, when I first trained as a doula—and I haven’t stopped learning since. My heart is in the early postpartum weeks, when everything feels tender, new, and deeply transformative. I believe confidence is key, and my role is to help parents feel supported, informed, and grounded as they adjust to life with a new baby.

My approach is gentle and practical, rooted in the belief that you already have what you need—sometimes you just need someone to walk beside you. Whether I’m offering overnight care, supporting infant feeding, or simply listening without judgment, I’m here to help you feel less alone and more at home in your role as a parent.

Postpartum Doula

Jess Herring

I have been a certified postpartum doula and infant care specialist since 2024, but my love and work for mothers and children roots back over a decade. I gained my ability to hold calm spaces when working as a nanny, most of my work was based around giving parents the reassurance their children were safe and nurtured, which I adored providing for children in all walks of life. I’ve always loved working among women and in community with our children, postpartum doula work feels like the most natural support I could provide.

Now as a mother of a very charismatic four year old, it is important for me to be home with her during the day, we can experience the world and all of its ups and downs together.  This inspired my passion for postpartum work- I still love to support mothers and babies, but I was seeking a new way of providing that support.

As a postpartum doula, it is my passion to provide a safe, calm and well supported space for mothers and their babies.  I want to hold space for everybody’s wellbeing and transition into their new roles.
